Musicians Star in Gillette 'Uncut' Campaign

Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am, Tim McGraw, Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and the All-American Rejects will be featured in the upcoming Gillette Uncut campaign which will include a series of digital documentary short films on the artists.

An article in USA Today  comes to the conclusion that Faith Sells. Really? 

The writer, Scott Bowles seems surprised that recent movies such as The Blind Side,  Madea Goes to Jail and Knowing (Nicholas Cage) all beat revenue projections.  Anyone remember The Passion of Christ (earned $370 million at the box office)?

One of the highest rated American television shows of all time, American Idol kicked off its 9th season this week.  As I thought about the winners of the first 8 seasons, it occurred to me that all but one are from the Heartland (see list below).  The non-Heartlander, Jordin Sparks hails from Arizona, which is pretty close.

 Great title and even better concept.  Pepsi put their money where their mouth is by funding grants for people who want to positively affect their local community.  For decades, corporations have posed as citizens of their local communities by stroking a check to the politically correct organizations.  In most cases, they were just crossing “corporate citizen” off their to-do list.
